Layers of Defences is part of my Ingrained Patterns Collection. It is made from a gorgeous, rich red clay foraged from Wick, South Gloucestershire. This collection explores our inner consciousness. It challenges our long-held thoughts and beliefs about our planet and our innate human behaviours.
Painted using handmade watercolour onto 9mm birch plywood, this artwork is an original painting finished with an archival UV protective matt varnish
Signed on the front
This painting is mounted onto a bespoke made, lux oak wooden frame, with a dark Jacobean wax finish to expose and highlight the edges of the ply.
