To mark Earth Month, I’m excited to unveil 100 Wild Earths — a limited collection of abstract miniatures created using handmade pigments foraged from rocks, clay, and soil. In this blog, I share the inspiration behind the project, my deep-rooted love for the land, and the slow, mindful process of painting with earth in my hands.

The Power of Quiet Art: Finding Solace in Simple, Subtle Creations
I've always been drawn to the beauty of quiet art – the kind of art that whispers rather than shouts, and invites contemplation rather than demands attention. As a child, I would sit amongst my sister and cousins (I have a big family!) and I was almost always the quietest one, sitting in the corner, colouring in or building something from scratch in my own little world. I think the desire to find solace amidst all the noise led me to how I work today. My art practice has taken the form of creating with natural earth minerals, slowly, carefully selecting and processing them to reveal their subtle beauty.
